If you’re here because you searched “Duality course review” or “Jeffrey Allen Duality review Mindvalley,” I’m going to assume you’re in one of two places:
- You’re curious about energy healing, but part of you is still like… is this real?
- You’re already spiritual (maybe even experienced), but you want a program that’s structured, practical, and not fluffy.
I’ve been in both places.
And what I’m about to share isn’t a “perfect marketing review.” This is my real experience with Duality by Jeffrey Allen on Mindvalley—how I found it, why I waited, what surprised me, what I use daily now, and who I truly think this course is for.

How I First Found Duality (When I Didn’t Even Believe in Energy Healing)
I first came across Duality a couple years ago—back when I was very new to energy healing and honestly… skeptical.
At that time, I saw Mindvalley running a free masterclass for Duality, and I watched it out of curiosity. I remember thinking I was just “checking it out,” but I didn’t expect much because I had no real awareness of energy healing. Part of me assumed it was a scam or something people exaggerated.
But in that masterclass, Jeffrey taught a technique that became a huge turning point for me.
It was the first technique I ever learned that helped me tangibly feel energy. Not “think about it,” not “hope it’s happening,” but actually feel it in my body.
And I remember being genuinely blown away.
As a very left-brain person, I had no idea that something like that could exist. I literally remember thinking:
“Wow… this is real. I want to learn more.”
That said—I still didn’t buy Duality back then.
Instead, I went on to study Reiki and started going deeper into energy healing through other modalities. But Duality stayed in the back of my mind like one of those programs you keep circling back to.
And recently, I finally had a chance to do the full program.
I’m so glad I did.
Because even after taking energy healing trainings and learning different modalities… Duality still had a lot to offer. It gave me tools I now use daily, and it filled in gaps I didn’t even realize I had.
What Is Duality on Mindvalley?
Duality is a Mindvalley program taught by energy healer Jeffrey Allen. Mindvalley describes it as a 7-week online journey designed to help you master your “personal energetic system”—with guided exercises and meditations that build skills step by step.
The structure is very intentional. It’s not a course where you watch a bunch of videos and then forget everything a week later.
Duality is designed more like a training—where you practice and integrate what you learn.
Mindvalley’s curriculum outline shows it’s organized into Parts 1–8, covering themes like energy awareness, mental clarity, healing, boundaries/empathy, chakra work, limiting beliefs, intuition, and higher awareness.
And yes—one of the reasons people search “Duality course review” is because it’s known for being structured and progressive. Things build on each other.
That structure is one of the biggest reasons I liked it.
Who This Duality Course Is For (and Who It’s Not For)
Let me be very clear about this, because it matters.
Duality is for you if:
- You’re open to energy healing (even if you’re new)
- You want practical tools you can use in real life
- You’re an empath and you get energetically affected by people
- You want boundaries that actually work without isolating you
- You want a course that trains you into mastery, not just “information”
Duality is not for you if:
- You’re extremely skeptical and unwilling to take any leap of faith
- You want this to feel like science lab experimentation
- You refuse to visualize or imagine anything at all
Energy healing requires a certain kind of openness. There’s a visualization component. You’re working with imagination and awareness in a way that becomes real through practice.
And without trust, it’s hard to go deep enough for it to land.
So if you’re skeptical, my honest suggestion is: watch the masterclass first. Mindvalley offers a free Duality masterclass, and it’s a great “temperature check” for whether this type of work resonates with you.
What’s Inside Duality: The Structure and Curriculum (Parts 1–8)
One thing Mindvalley does well is structure, and Duality is no exception.
Mindvalley outlines Duality as a multi-week curriculum, broken into Parts 1 through 8, with a day-by-day schedule and guided practices.
Here’s a simplified view of what those parts cover (in normal, human language):
Part 1: Energy Awareness & Personal Presence
This is where you learn the basics—becoming aware of energy and getting grounded.
Part 2: Gain Mental & Intuitive Clarity
Clearing mental noise, learning balanced awareness, and connecting to “universal wisdom.”
Part 3: Heal Your Body Using Energy
This is where it starts feeling more tangible—running energy, clearing the body, and learning energetic healing fundamentals
Part 4: Empathy & Healthy Personal Boundaries
This was my favorite module (more on that in a second).
Part 5: Chakra Work + Communication + Manifesting
Chakra-focused practices, and using chakras intentionally.
Part 6: Clear Limiting Beliefs
Energetic and mindset-level clearing that supports real life changes.
Part 7: Access Your Intuition
Strengthening intuition and learning to use it practically.
Part 8: Higher Awareness
Deeper awareness work and spiritual connection.
Now I want to share what this looked like in my real experience—because for me, the structure was the whole point.
The Biggest Reason Duality Worked for Me: It Builds Mastery (Not Just Information)
One thing I’ve noticed with a lot of courses (including some energy healing trainings) is that they teach one technique… and then move on.
So you learn it, love it, and then forget it because the next shiny thing appears.
Duality is different.
The way Jeffrey teaches is progressive. He starts with grounding (which is essential), and he makes sure you practice it over and over again.
And I’m going to say something very directly:
Grounding is not optional.
I see a lot of people trying to develop intuition without grounding. That can lead to feeling unbalanced—like you’re floating in your upper chakras. In my opinion, the goal isn’t to “escape the body.” We’re spiritual beings having a human experience. We need to be in our body.
Duality starts with grounding, then builds upward: higher mind, cosmic energy, earth energy, and so on—step by step.
And because the program is designed as a multi-week training (Mindvalley frames it as a 7-week journey), you don’t just learn techniques—you live them.
That repetition is what creates mastery.
My Favorite Part of Duality: The Boundaries Module (Especially If You’re an Empath)
Part 4—Empathy & Healthy Personal Boundaries—was the standout for me.
If you’re familiar with Human Design, I have an open solar plexus, and I’m extremely empathic. I can be having a great morning—meditation done, energy clear, feeling amazing—and then I step into real life.
Kids grumpy. Someone stressed. A heavy interaction. A sad story online.
And suddenly my internal state shifts, like I absorbed something that wasn’t even mine.
I’ve learned energetic boundaries in the past, but a lot of techniques felt like effort. Or they felt like “put yourself in a bubble and block everything.”
And honestly… I don’t want that.
I don’t want to be emotionally shut down when my daughter is excited and wants to share her joy. I don’t want to numb out the good parts of life just to avoid the hard parts.
What Jeffrey teaches here felt different.
The boundary work in Duality helped me create a field where:
- I could still feel the good energy
- I could still be present and connected
- But I didn’t have to carry other people’s emotional heaviness
And what I loved most: it’s fast.
Even on days I skip meditation (because life happens), I can do a quick boundary practice in about a minute and feel stable again. That’s huge for anyone who is busy, parenting, or just living in the real world.
This module alone made the course worth it for me.
Chakra Work: Useful, But This Was My One “Struggle” Area
I want to be honest here, because people looking for a Duality course review want the full picture.
The chakra module was interesting, and the technique Jeffrey teaches is different from what I learned elsewhere.
But I personally struggled with one aspect: the visualization images.
For some reason, I could not “see” what I felt like I was supposed to see. I could sense energy shifting, and I could sense lightness taking over—so I knew it was working.
But my left-brain side wanted clearer visuals, and it just didn’t click as easily for me as the grounding and boundaries work did.
That said, I don’t consider this a deal-breaker. It was just the one module where I felt a little friction.
The “Spirit Team” Experience and Intuition Work
As the course progresses, you integrate everything you’ve learned. And there was a point in the later modules where I had this beautiful experience of connecting with what I’d call a support team—spirit guides, support presence, higher awareness.
It felt like the work built up to that. It wasn’t random. It felt earned through practice.
I’m primarily clear-audient (I receive through hearing/knowing), but this course also opened the door to more visual experiences for me—even if I’m not fully “clairvoyant” by nature.
I even had a moment where I visually perceived my spirit guide, which was new for me.
I’ll be honest: I didn’t complete every single long meditation yet, so I feel like there’s still more depth I can explore. But even with what I did, it was meaningful.
What I Loved Most About Duality (In Simple Terms)
If I had to summarize why Duality stood out—even after other energy healing trainings—it comes down to this:
1) The course trains mastery through repetition
Not information overload. Not constant new techniques. Actual practice. Mindvalley
2) Jeffrey is genuinely easy to learn from
His energy is friendly, open, and grounded. I enjoyed learning from him.
3) It’s great for left-brain people
He uses visuals and diagrams to help you imagine the energy practices (which reduces that “am I doing it right?” spiral). Mindvalley
4) The boundary tools actually changed my day-to-day life
This was the biggest practical improvement for me.
Mindvalley Access: Membership vs Buying the Program
Mindvalley typically runs programs through its membership model (they call their courses “Quests” within membership), and membership access can be monthly or annual depending on the offer.
Sometimes Mindvalley runs promotions where you can get special access options. Those offers can change, so I always recommend checking the current page details when you’re ready to enroll.
One practical tip if you do join through membership: use the workbook seriously. Mindvalley courses often include strong workbook support, and it helps you retain the work even if you don’t stay subscribed forever.
So… Do I Recommend Duality?
Yes. I do.
I recommend Duality if you are:
- new to energy healing but open
- an empath who needs real energetic boundaries
- someone who wants tools you can use daily (fast)
- someone who wants a structured program that builds mastery
It helped me become more present. It helped me stay grounded. It helped me protect my energy without shutting down.
And for me, that means life feels lighter.
Bad things can still happen—because that’s life—but they don’t have to take over your nervous system for the rest of the day. You have tools to clear it quickly and come back to yourself.
Should you take duality? it is worth it?
If you’re curious but not sure yet, my honest recommendation is to start with the free Duality masterclass first. It’s the best way to feel whether Jeffrey’s teaching style and this type of energy work actually resonates with you.
If the masterclass clicks for you, then Duality is absolutely worth considering—especially if you’ve been absorbing other people’s energy and you’re ready to feel stable, grounded, and clear again.
